I Did My Daughters Homework For A Week And It Nearly Killed Me

I Did My Daughter’s Homework For A Week And It Nearly Killed Me You can contact us to solve problems in math, history, psychology and all other subjects without any inconveniences and delays. Every answer will be provided in a clear manner and you will be able to get back to your assignment at once. We've got thousands of tutors in different areas of study who are willing to help you with any kind of academic assignment, be it a math homework or an article. Nowadays, almost every single interaction or service we encounter involves some sort of technology, whether it be ordering clothes, filling out applications, or even swiping right. At the end of the day, why must education be left behind? Is helping your child with homework more frustrating and confusing than ever before, thanks to the new Common Core standards? Do words like metamorphic, integer, and bibliography give you sweaty palms and vague flashbacks to your own school days? Whether you and your child need math help, a grammar refresher, or project ideas, check out these standout homework resources available for free on the web. Also keep in mind these smart homework tips for parents. StudyDaddy is a place, which will help you find answers for homework not depending on the topic and its complexity. Doing homework for other people can be deemed unethical, especially when completing graded assignments. Make sure answers to homework questions can only be used as a tutoring aid or a reference. You do agree that copied concepts from a textbook or tutors' lectures leave no chance to pass. The methods that students use to cheat are most interesting because of their effect on grades or other assessment consequences. Cheating undermines the intent and process of assessment. When students choose to cheat, how they do so is likely related to both individual and situational variables, including motivational, moral, and developmental factors. The motivational orientation of both the individual and the academic environment may trigger different types of cheating behavior. A child also needs to have a childhood and today’s homework does not allow them to do this, as they are too bogged down with hours of it. It de-legitimizes our teachers’ hard work to broaden students’ perspectives. When asking a question, students assign how much they are willing to pay. You will also get paid each time another student gets access to your answers. Another point in favor of this site was that the prices were just within the range of all college students. All in all, this is definitely a service that more students should consider using. Developing a conceptual definition of cheating is a first step in identifying how students cheat. Cheating is to act dishonestly or unfairly in order to win some profit or advantage. Typically, you need to change the wording so that your answer looks like you actually did some research. Be smart in paraphrasing - remember to google the answers so that you understand the exams questions. Cheating on homework is not defrauding if you can stand for what your writing says. Study the articles and learn how to cheat on mymathlab online homework. It may be so if you don’t know how to cheat on homework so that no one suspects. Homework takes away all the time that kids should be outside playing with friends and turns it into time when they just have to sit inside and do stressful work. Lee Bartel, a professor at the University of Toronto, did a study on the effects of homework on children and if it causes stress and anxiety. Professor Bartel goes onto say how if homework is unnecessary, then it’s only purpose is to cause kids unwanted stress and anxiety that he found can lead to students having emotion breakdowns. Homework is supposed to be for kids to help reinforce what they learn, not to tire them out and make them not like what they do. They are getting so much homework that Margot Steinberg of White Plains, states that her ”kids get so much homework, they’re not getting something out of it. They’re doing it to get it done.” This is not what the purpose of homework should be. With a library of math, science, history, and foreign language answers right in our pocket, the opportunities are limitless. It’s silly to think that one would bother to go to school and learn from actual human beings when they can just copy answers from a website and never think about the subject again. What kind of teacher would like to waste their time teaching their classes, only to find out that their students are a bunch of cheaters? Bartel shows how since homework is already in itself unnecessary, that it is actually doing harm to the kids by putting them under stress that they do not need. The stress and anxiety caused by homework is unacceptable and the students of today are not the only ones feeling it. At North Trail Elementary School, in Farmington, Minnesota, where he is principal, students do what he says is engaging homework. Whether you're looking for a crash course in world history or biology, or even just basic math concepts, there are nicely paced videos on almost every topic. There are even videos to help kids learn computer programming or prepare for the SAT.

Price Matters...But So Does Reputation.

Price Matters...But So Does Reputation. Hi Everyone,Today I'd like to talk about what helps set McElroy Tutoring apart as an educational company and why we are the best choice for elite test prep and private tutoring, especially in a tough economy.Simply put? We offer experienced, reliable tutors at small-business, recession-proof prices. Big tutoring companies currently have an overhead problem, because they have too many offices, too many employees, and too many advertising expenses; this explains their outrageous prices. This type of profligate spending and mismanagement is why they are aren't doing very well at the moment! As for all those flashy (figuratively and literally) start-up tutoring websites run by recent college graduates with angel investors and programming skills, the ones that promise you expert tutors at low prices: while their tutors are usually more affordable, web-based tutoring companies have a credibility problem because they are usually home-based businesses without an established reputation, who hire nearly everyone who applies and have very little quality control and/or executive experience. (This is not to mention those that are straight-up scams!) If a web-based national tutoring business is only 2 years old and already claims to offer over 5,000 tutors, for example, then what does this say about that company's hiring standards? Over the last few years, it has caught on that tutoring is a booming business, so now everyone's trying to get a piece of the pie. They want to become the next Craigslist by listing hundreds or even thousands of available tutors on their websites. Problem is, Craigslist already does it better and more easily. We don't need another website that lists all the people who would like to try working as a tutor, or have tutored only a few times. That's why McElroy Tutoring's selectivity and customer service set us apart. While we do have a good selection of tutors, we will only find our clients the tutors who are serious about tutoring, and the ones that are the best at tutoring, and connect our clients with these tutors nearly instantly. We offer free 15-minute phone consultations with your tutor before your first lesson, and you never need to pay for more than one session at a time. In a word, we are reliable. The truth is that most tutoring companies fit into two categories these days: The Princeton Imitators and the Craigslist imitators. The Princeton Imitators (Princeton is short for Princeton Review, of course, whom I used to work for) typically write their own curricula and proprietary workbooks, buy up office space by the bushel, schedule 8-12 student classes at at $500-$1500 per student, and quickly hire book-smart but inexperienced tutors to teach the classes. Problem is, these companies are built for brief, generic classroom courses, not customized private tutoring. Also, their trainings are minimal and their private tutors lack experience. This is not to mention their ridiculous prices for tutoring (they charge up to a 500-600% markup compared to what they actually pay their tutors). Some Princeton Review imitators: Kaplan (the original Princeton imitator), Sylvan, Club Z, Revolution Prep,Powerscore, Eureka, Veritas, Ivy West, Ivy Bound. Princeton Imitators are like the Investment Banks of the Tutoring World: they usually hire intelligent but novice tutors, teach them a rigid and proprietary script, underpay them and work them to the bone, then shrug it off and hire someone else as soon as the tutors get frustrated and quit. In general, they are built to put marketing and profits first, and student results a distant third. The Craigslist imitators are the companies who want to become the next "Service Engine." They figure that if they can convince enough independent tutors to create profiles on their website, and they take a smaller cut than most companies do, then they will eventually turn a profit. They take advantage of trust funds and angel investors, and they build pretty-looking websites with lots of tutors listed but no real selectivity or accountability. These companies are little more than a glorified Craigslist with more headshots and fancier window dressing. Some Craigslist imitators: TutorsTeach.com, Tutor.com, E-Tutor.com, WyzAnt.com, GlobalScholar.com. If you want to find a cheap tutor with little legitimate tutoring experience, then feel free to go to one of these websites, or even better, to Craigslist itself, where there is no middleman at all, it is free to post, and I have seen prices as low as $10/hr quoted by people who lack tutoring experience and qualifications but need extra work. There are definitely people who will work for even less if you look hard enough. But if you want a truly professional and effective tutor, then you need a company that has real experience in the business and knows what it takes to be an expert instructor. In other words, if companies like TutorsTeach are the Craigslists of the tutoring world, then McElroy Tutoring is its Google . We don't present you with all possible tutors in no particular order; we present you with only you the best tutors, in order. -Brian

Online Education Vs Online Education - 1052 Words

As free and open access to the internet grows, so does the prevalence of online education. But is it really in society’s best interests to give our children a computer with television shows, pornography, and math? On one hand, it seems like online education is far more flexible than traditional schooling. After all, what kind of a student wants to wake up at the same time every day to go to school at 8. However, in reality, a variety of issues have been raised about the practicality of digital classes. Online schooling fails to educate students to the same standard as classroom teaching. Furthermore, flexibility should not be more important than results. Digital schooling fails to foster the personal connections between educators and†¦show more content†¦It seems clear then that honest academic assessment is vital to ensuring that students are educated to a high standard. In addition, students that do not study in the classroom lack the organized social interactions that would otherwise increase their higher cognitive function. According to the theories of Vygotsky, â€Å"dialog and organized social activity† are pivotal to â€Å"the development of higher mental processes and learning† (Source F). In a physical classroom, teachers are able to provide a multitude of opportunities for students to socially engage with one another and participate in meaningful dialog. If language and dialog are so critical to higher development, then how can we remove them and still maintain a high standard of education? Moreover, online education lacks the â€Å"social contact† needed to ensure learning (Source F). Some might argue that digital discussion forms are an adequate substitute for traditional dialog. At first this might seem like a reasonable idea, however, the â€Å"impersonal online classes† in which these forms take place are no t conducive to natural dialog (Source D). The experience of participating in a live oral debate is very different than posting and responding through a website. Likewise, there is strong evidence that educational conversation—such as an in-class debate—develops â€Å"higher mental functions† such as â€Å"verbal thought, reasoning,Show MoreRelatedOnline Learning Vs. A Walking Tour Of Montreal s Historical Red Light District

As part of McGill’s Community Engagement Day, I went on a walking tour of Montrà ©al’s historical Red Light District presented by Karen Herland, professor and specialist in the history of prostitution. Her historical analysis (personal communication, October 2, 2015) of the neighbourhood gave great insights on morality and legislation issues regarding sex work, specifically about the relationship between authorities and prostitution as well as some of the impacts that these laws and other attitudes that regulate sex work have on women. Her astute reports lead us to the following proposition: the dynamics between authorities and sex work indicates that under the guise of â€Å"morality†, the laws in place and their application did not actually oppose sex work, they rather worked to limit women’s emancipation. First, although the laws in place seem to indicate that there was sex work persecution, the variability in their application demonstrates the superficiality of prostitution condemnation. Indeed, it must be noted that the local police maintained a working relationship with many brothels, who traded protection for political favors, for information about the local mafia, and even for the monopoly of the beverage sold in brothels, although these connections varied considerably depending on political contexts (K. Herland, personal communication, October 2, 2015). For instance, mayor Drapeau’s â€Å"cleaning up† of the city coincided with the end of this system of mutual support, asShow MoreRelatedOne Significant Change That Has Occurred in the World Between 1900 and 2005. Development for Economic - Environmental - myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about theDevelopment for Economic, Environmental and Physical. Answer: Development can be defined as the procedure which helps in creation of growth and progress as well as positive changes or the addition of economic, environmental, physical as ell as a social and different demographic components. The main purpose of the development can be determined by the rise in the level as well as the quality of life in the population. It also covers the expansion of the different local regional incomes as well as different employment opportunities of individuals. (Johnson, Robertson and Cooper 2017). This should not however mean damaging the resources of the environment. Development includes an aspect of quality change along with the creation of conditions that are required for continuation of changes. I have appreciated the work of Amartya Sen who has provided the capability approach. This can be defined as the tool which enables people to reach their highest levels of ability. This according to him can be done by granting freedom through actions which may include freedom of economic, social as well as family actions. This approach had been made a basis for the measurement of development as Human Development Index called the HDI by the United Nations in the year 1990. On the personal front, development mainly comprises of the activities which help in improving our awareness and identity (Ross et al. 2014). This help in developing the talent and the potential of the individual. It also helps in building of human capital and facilitating employability. All these aspects of development are needed to ensure enhancement of quality lives and also contribution to realization of different dreams that we possess. As an individual, I have noted several areas where I need to take initiatives to develop myself to reach my potential as a student. The first factor which I believe is very important for development is self awareness. Being aware of the negative and positive aspects about own self and trying hard to overcome the barriers towards success and achieving potential is very important as it marks and important pathway to success (Paris and Santario 2015). Previously, I used to take life as it used to offer me or affect me. I was not self aware and therefore could not judge the initiatives I take while completing my task in life. With the help of self reflection strategies, I have learnt to develop my self-awareness skills which had made me develop my critical analyzing skills. This had helped me to think rationally before undertaking a task and hence the chances of making mistakes had lessened. The term development is intricately associated with knowledge and over the years, experts have advised of every individual in gaining knowledge to develop their skills and exhibit better workmanship (Driesson and vanTartwijk 2013). However, I believe that only gathering knowledge is not enough in developing oneself. Rather the individual should pass through various experienced where he should apply the knowledge in order to make the use of the knowledge gathered and to test his or her own capability. Applying knowledge learnt in institutions or workplaces in practical lives and handling situations effectively helps in meeting the main aim of development. Another interesting factor associated with development is that taking initiatives that would involve overall development of lifestyles and social outlook of people. For this, it becomes very important for the individual to not only pressurize more important in development of financial condition (Chou et al. 2014). There are many individuals who believe that financial development may lead to lifestyle developments. However this is not true in all the cases as I have experienced many scenarios where a rich individual is not still happy with the development in his life. This is mainly because lifestyle factors also include maintaining physical health and mental health in the proper ways. An individual who undertakes proper diets, exercises and leads life in a disciplined manner can ensure development of his lifestyles which brings happiness and prosperities. Developing social relationship and emotional intelligence are also important as every student would become a professional and both the components ensure success and stability at workplace (Baruh and Cemaclar 2014). My own brother had been an example. He was a top grader in his business administration studies and was as assigned as a leader in a group of eight individual in a multicultural company. Although he was a very smart professional but somehow he was not succeeding. I noticed that he was mainly lacking in his social skills where he was not being able to connect with his workers on an emotional ground. Therefore the development which was wanted by the employer in the sales figures was not achieved. However with proper initiatives, he gradually developed relationship building skills. Not only had that he becomes more social and tolerant at his workplace. He gave scope to people to express their concerns. He understood development of both formal and informal relationships to be i mportant and provided respect to cultures. All these development helped in reaching the goals. Therefore social development is also important to develop human potential in the competitive world. I have seen a tendency in my friends that they believe personal development plans only include development of oneself with the utilization of proper strategies that ensure betterment of performance and being good human beings. However, I have a different overview of that besides personal development plan, a better human being would also make grounds for other individuals to develop with proper mentoring, teaching and guiding them to betterment. I believe that I should not only uptake tasks that would enhance my own skills but would also help my colleagues, friends and team members by extending support in every way possible. By helping others, I can brush up my skills and also realize my loop holes which are indeed some developmental strategies that I would like to apply in my future endeavors. The article provided by Chambers has been of immense help as it had helped me in linking development with the situation of well being. He had provided much importance on the different experiences of well being which can be achieved when an individual maintains personal responsibilities. It holds important connections about how different people see it in relations with themselves, with others and also with other environment. I am in support of his view where he had stated that well being on a personal ground should involve the responsibility of development of all individuals. I have gained an insight from my personal experiences that by decreasing the poverty can ensure development of the ill being but by increasing wealth does not necessarily ensure well being of people. Therefore in my developmental attributes and plans, I would try my best to make my society less prone to poverty by stopping exploitations over the poor. Providing proper livelihood securities, ensuring safety and su stainability would not only help in development of the society but through society would ensure my development a well (Chambers 1997). Therefore, from the above areas of discussion, I have understood that in order to develop myself as a human being with high potential, the first important things that I have to incorporate is a proper mission and vision. The mission would be to make myself a better human being with all humanly attributes of kindness, helpful, love, sharing and understanding. Moreover my aim is also to be good student and better professional in the future along with the hope of aspiring to be a healthy and successful individual of the nation. The first step is to set up a vision. The second step would be to identify what initiatives I would take to achieve the vision. The third point would be to identify the main importance and worth which will result when we would be successful in achieving the vision. Basically, it helps in understanding the benefits which I can get form fulfilling the vision. The fourth point that I also would be inculcating in my development plan is the identification of the suppo rt that I will need on my way of developing my attitudes, behaviors, skills and knowledge. The fifth and the sixth step of my development would be to undertake proper assessment of the skills and analyzing my knowledge. This should be followed by properly assessing the personal qualities and identifying the loop holes associated with it. The next eight steps would be to develop a proper personal development plan followed by the next step of preparing a career plan. The last and the most important step would be to monitor the changes required, evaluate the outcomes of changes and thereby adapt to better characteristics for ensuring my development with proper traits of being social beings. Form the entire discussion; I have decided that in order to develop ourselves to be a better person, several outlooks need to be modified. Firstly, self awareness is very much important along with development of knowledge and skills. This should be followed by application of skills in life experiences which would help us in developing ourselves better professionals. Financial developments only do not result in positive effects. Rather, lifestyle changes for better healthy and prosperous lives by proper diets, exercises, self maintenance and other ensure well being. Livelihood security, sustainability, equity, capabilities are all interconnected and all the factors should be incorporated in own life to ensure responsible well being an a happy and prosperous lives.
